Yusra Gilani
Legal Consultant
Yusra Gilani is a Legal Consultant for Acumen Fund - Pakistan. Prior to joining Acumen Fund in October 2007, she worked for five years as a Senior Associate with Mandviwalla & Zafar, a corporate and financial services law firm, where she represented various banks and public and private sector companies on diverse deals. Her work there included setting up and licensing various banks and Islamic banks, and undertaking mergers and acquisitions of banks and financial companies. She holds a BA from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, a CPE from BPP Law School, a BVC from Inns Court School of Law. Yusra is a Barrister at Law and a member of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn, as well as an Advocate and a member of the Sindh Bar Council in Pakistan.
