Harry Dellane
Director of Talent
Harry Dellane joined Acumen Fund as the Director of Talent in September 2008. As Director of Talent, Harry Dellane works to develop the next generation of leaders in the social sector, including team members within Acumen Fund; members and alumni of our Fellows Program; and leaders from other stakeholder groups. Harry also manages the internal HR function at Acumen Fund and supports talent development at our investees. Previously, he worked as leadership and organizational development consultant to organizations in the financial services, pharmaceutical, educational and non-profit sectors. Harry's work and research interests include organizational development, emotional intelligence, and group relations/diversity. He has worked extensively with teams to increase performance and enhance effectiveness using a wide range of organizational interventions. Harry has extensive experience in talent acquisition and talent management gained through his corporate HR work at Prudential Financial, Standard & Poor's, UBS Paine Weber and Intrasphere Technologies. Earlier in his career, he was a Captain with the US Army where he specialized in personnel and administrative management. Harry holds a doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Rutgers University, an MS in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development from the New School for Social Research in NYC, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware.
